Coordination and Support

The Genova Insieme office manages and coordinates all cooperative activities, providing separate waste collection, bin regeneration, cleaning services, and job placement, always with the goal of ensuring efficiency and quality.

Coordination of Separate Waste Collection

  • Operations Planning
The office coordinates waste collection services for paper, glass, plastic, polystyrene, and wood, ensuring efficient and sustainable management. Operations are carried out in collaboration with AMIU, the Omnia Consortium, and other local institutions, guaranteeing a well-structured and widespread service across the territory.

  • Collaborations with the Omnia Consortium
Genova Insieme is an active part of the Omnia Consortium, with which it provides a wide range of services: separate collection of paper and cardboard, packaging collection at Carrefour stores, management of wooden and plastic crates in fruit and vegetable shops, collection of glass bins and polystyrene boxes for fish markets, and the collection of municipal solid waste (MSW) at the San Martino Polyclinic Hospital.

  • Contract Management
Separate waste collection is assigned through regional and municipal tenders, allowing Genova Insieme to operate in various areas with high-quality services, aligned with the needs of local communities and businesses.

Tenders and Contracts

The office is highly committed to managing tenders and contracts, which are essential for the cooperative's operations:

  • Participation in tenders: we prepare the documentation to participate in public and private tenders, often issued by AMIU or other institutions.
  • Contract management: we monitor ongoing contracts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and the quality of the services provided.
  • Contract renewal: we oversee the contract renewal process, such as the one with IKEA, with the goal of strengthening and expanding collaborations.
  • New opportunities: we explore new markets and regions, such as Lower Piedmont and other neighboring areas, to expand our presence and offer our services beyond the Genoa area.

Administration and Management

  • Internal management: the office handles human resources, budgeting, and commercial activities.
  • Team composition: the office consists of administrative staff, a president, a vice president, and a support team for operational activities.
  • Collaborations with companies: we manage partnerships with major companies, such as AMIU and IKEA, and are always open to new collaborations.
