In 1992, Genoa turned a social conflict into an opportunity. In response to tensions between football fan bases, was born Genova Insieme, a cooperative that made the Luigi Ferraris Stadium a symbol of inclusion and social redemption.
Starting with stadium cleaning, the cooperative grew, expanding its services to separate waste collection, urban maintenance, and collaborations with companies like IKEA. With over 400 people integrated into the workforce, Genova Insieme has become a model of success and solidarity.
Resilience and social commitment are the pillars of this organization. Genova Insieme has created opportunities for those facing life’s challenges, proving that work can be a powerful tool for transforming the entire community.
